For the month of April, Dunia, the innovative Persian and Oriental style restaurant, engaged with their customers in a ‘month of giving’ for Qatar Charity. For every QR150 spent, Dunia donated 10% of the total bill to Qatar Charity. Apart from this they also had a box in situ for anyone who wished to donate more.

Handing over the cheque to Hamad Al Hajri, Head of Corporate Relations for Qatar Charity, Ali Kammoun, Dunia’s restaurant manager said, “As a part of our corporate social responsibility we felt it to be of paramount importance to give back to our community by raising money for charity. Qatar Charity was the most obvious choice for us being that they are renowned in Qatar for putting charitable contributions to the best possible use to benefit those in need. We hope to consistently support our community in any way we can and look at this as our step in the right direction.”

Dunia was introduced to Doha in 2008 offering a wide selection of menu items including Kebab Mixed Grill, Kofta Platter and Meat Balls in Laban, that carry the taste of authentic Persian and Oriental cuisine with a contemporary touch that is a true pleasure for the eye and palate.
